My career at HTEC started with data wrangling, experimentation, and building pipelines. I quickly learned things are done differently here — I was given the freedom to find the best approach and deliver impactful results. While initially intimidating, this empowering mindset became my guide for personal and professional growth. The supportive environment helped me discover myself through technical leadership, engineering, and delivery management. I was constantly encouraged to step outside my comfort zone, to succeed and be recognized, and to stand behind my ideas. This journey not only shaped my own growth but also allowed me to play a role in the company’s evolution. Now, I’m focused on growing our data solutions capabilities and implementing frameworks to empower others to find their own development paths and contribute to our overall success.

I joined HTEC with 22 years of experience in the industry, hungry for new challenges. Once you reach a certain seniority level, you might easily become ’the smartest person in the room’ — and with HTEC, I found the challenge I needed. My current role as head of technology, solution architecture enables me to impact the company’s continued development on a strategic level. It is not an individual or a team contribution but a contribution on a company-wide level.

Solution architecture is about making crucial technical decisions that are expensive or difficult to change — so obviously, you want to do it right. I’m lucky to have an extraordinary department by my side called the Tech Excellence Office, gathering the company’s most distinguished engineers and ensuring unparalleled levels of technical quality in everything we do.

With over 28 years of rich experience in the IT industry, I bring a wealth of expertise to my role as senior director of client success at HTEC. Leading with a deep understanding of technology trends and client needs, I drive transformative initiatives that elevate client satisfaction and foster enduring partnerships. With a keen focus on leveraging technology to meet and exceed client expectations, I work with cross-functional teams in delivering innovative solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.

As an engineer with almost two decades of experience on both commercial and research projects, I have accumulated experience across multiple fields, from embedded systems, over compilers, full-stack .NET development, cloud infrastructure development and integration, game and app development, to machine learning and artificial intelligence, which have been my main professional focus for the last eight years. HTEC’s Tech Excellence leadership was open to exploring new organizational and technical approaches and recognized my skillset as one that could aid the company’s transition to the age of artificial intelligence. As Head of Artificial Intelligence, my job is to lead research initiatives and support commercial projects that help HTEC stay ahead of competition regarding artificial intelligence integration and process automation. I am also afforded the opportunity to engage the community with matters of social consequence.

When deciding to join HTEC and make a career switch, I was initially drawn by its diverse portfolio, access to cutting-edge technologies, and industry insights. Quickly, I found myself working with both excellent engineers and industry experts — an experience that continuously challenges and enables me to advance in the technology space while specializing in the healthcare and life sciences domain. Added to this growth through ‘hands-on’ experience, there is a whole ecosystem in place for supporting individual development, like training programs, mentorship initiatives, constructive feedback mechanisms, reskill/upskill programs, and more. Such opportunities ensure that every engineer is equipped to drive both personal and organizational success.

With a strong background in engineering and an even greater passion for building and growing, being a part of HTEC’s engineering leadership team is nothing less than amazing. Over the last 25 years, my expertise has grown across three pillars: technology, people, and delivering excellence. I’ve been fascinated by technology and engineering from the earliest days. My areas of specialty and interest include high-complexity distributed systems, defense and space robust, secure infrastructures, and high-tech HW acceleration on a variety of targeted platforms: x86, ARM, or RISC-V CPU architectures, NVIDIA and AMD GPUs, and DSPs or specialized ASICs.

Being surrounded by extraordinary people fills another gap in pursuing growth, starting with the opportunity to learn from the best in technology and engineering, as well as in organizational and capacity building. In a remarkable stream of events, I’ve always managed to be close to great professionals and outstanding people and, most rewardingly, be able to help them grow. The third pillar is equally essential— delivering excellence in times of unprecedented advancement. One must have the right mindset of continuously iterating by assessing progress and failures, learning, improving how we do things, and always keeping that perseverance alive. With these three pillars, success is bound to follow.

Joining HTEC as the first employee in the Debrecen office as a Backend Engineer on a maritime project provided a unique introduction to the industry. It allowed me to engage with complex systems, which I am passionate about. It was incredibly rewarding to dig deeper into this domain and uncover its challenges. A successful PoC with the Tech Excellence Office – AI team led to an exciting opportunity to become a core member of this innovative group. My proactivity and dedication were acknowledged with a promotion to Tech Lead.

A seasoned engineering manager and cybersecurity strategist, I have dedicated over a decade to developing and overseeing cutting-edge solutions in endpoint security and data protection. My expertise lies in crafting robust products that not only safeguard against data theft and malware but also bolster the overall security posture of organizations. I have been instrumental in enhancing security policies, securing productivity tools, and implementing centralized device management systems. My expertise encompasses evaluating the technical feasibility of complex projects, guaranteeing that innovative solutions align with business objectives and technical requirements. I have a proven track record in optimizing engineering processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, leading to the successful delivery of projects.

My role at HTEC involves designing and implementing cutting-edge cybersecurity architecture to protect against evolving threats. This responsibility requires a deep understanding of technical concepts and the ability to foresee potential security challenges. And I look forward to solving them all.
