Our business operations serve as the backbone of our organization, seamlessly integrating diverse departments to create an environment that fosters both internal excellence and client satisfaction. Complementary to our E&D department, our business operations encompass a range of critical departments that collaborate efficiently to establish and maintain the infrastructure, processes, and support systems necessary for our company’s success. Together, our business operations form a cohesive framework that propels us towards our strategic objectives and paves the way for further growth and scaling in our company. 

The revenue office is responsible for the company’s business development efforts. It owns and optimizes all revenue-generating aspects of the business, from sales and operations to sales marketing, GTM, and beyond. Our sales team is divided into two main work streams — business development (BD) and business development operations (BDO).

The marketing department is responsible for promoting the HTEC brand and our services and supporting our business development efforts. The department consists of six teams: visual communications, digital marketing, field and industry marketing, employer branding, content and editorial, public relations, and marketing technology. 

The legal office is responsible for ensuring that the company’s operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations, reviewing and drafting contracts, providing legal advice to executives and other employees, and developing company policies. 

Our finance department is responsible for steering the financial course of all our endeavors while keeping an eye on compliance and risk management. It’s organized into sub-teams that handle mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate finance, including financial planning and analysis, and finance operations, including accounting, treasury and risk, financial controls, and accounts receivable

Our communications office is responsible for providing clear, accurate, and reliable information across the company as well as with external stakeholders, establishing a consistent approach to all our communications and ensuring it reflects company values. Nurturing open and effective communication internally and externally is essential to creating a culture of trust, defining our distinctive identity, and enhancing team and organizational performance. 

Our Talent acquisition (TA) team consists of seasoned professionals responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent to meet the company’s strategic objectives. Awarded the 2022 TA Leader of the Year – Mid Market award by HRO Today, the team goes above and beyond to create a seamless experience for candidates, supporting the onboarding process and promoting our company as an employer of choice in the competitive IT industry. 

HTEC’s people and business partnering (PBP) team is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where employees can thrive. They provide skilled, confident, and fair leadership to help each employee reach their full potential. The team’s focus is to empower employees and their direct managers and create streamlined employee journeys that promote professional and personal growth. This team is also responsible for processes such as onboarding, employee engagement and offboarding, and supporting the implementation of all people-related processes coming from the centers of expertise.  

Capacity operations helps management determine workforce capacity and plan for future growth, providing insightful reports, analysis, and recommendations. Delivery optimization boosts data accuracy and company efficiency by developing and maintaining data, collaborating with departments, and offering valuable optimization tips for projects and the company. Internal allocation management takes care of team members not assigned to commercial projects, overseeing their reskilling and education, and assisting with staffing for commercial projects, all while delivering helpful reports, analysis, and recommendations. 

This team is responsible for functional activities at all locations and for all organization units. They cover employee data management (gathering and maintaining all employee data), document management (responsible for all documentation of employees, from onboarding to offboarding), people data and analytics, and labor law — the basis for all other processes. 

Our Engineering and delivery (E&D) unit encompasses 1,600 engineers, organized into cross-functional teams. What sets HTEC apart is our expertise in delivering end-to-end software and hardware solutions. We go beyond engineering to encompass design, consultancy, and business strategy — providing our customers with unique, full-stack global product capabilities.
  
In addition, E&D encompasses two specialized departments: Tech Excellence Office and Product Innovation Office. These units are dedicated to establishing and maintaining the highest technology- and product-related standards across our offerings. 

The E&D department possesses comprehensive expertise to deliver end-to-end software and hardware solutions, industry- and domain- specific skills, and in-depth market knowledge that enables us to truly cater to our customers’ evolving needs. Our E&D department is further organized into specialized business units, empowering each team to excel in the industries they own.
 
Our engineering teams are distributed across Southeast Europe and North America, and engaged in globally impactful projects. Apart from deep engineering and product development prowess, our team excels in nurturing strong relationships with our customers and works hand in hand with them as strategic partners.

The Product Innovation office, or PIO, is a dedicated team of product, research, and design professionals committed to elevating product practices at HTEC and providing strategic product guidance for our customers. PIO offers a range of services, including product concept, MVP blueprint, product scaling, data and AI productization, product and design due diligence, user research, accessibility assessment, and more to steer customers towards resilient and highly differentiated products. PIO collaborates closely with internal teams of engineers and solution architects as well as customers’ teams, bringing extensive product and design expertise across industries and domains to facilitate informed data decision-making, eliminate unnecessary costs, and validate product-related ideas at any stage of the customer’s digital journey. 

Tech Excellence Office, or TEO, is comprised of the company’s most seasoned technology experts. The team provides a range of services to ensure the highest technology standards are consistently applied across the organization, helping the company stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving tech landscape. TEO gathers professionals of different specialties, including solutions architecture, AI, data, cloud and infrastructure, quality management, SecOps, DevOps, research and development, etc. The team supports both internal and customer teams by providing system design services and capabilities, cloud and infrastructure assessment and design, tech due diligence, tech security assessment and design, AI and data solutions, and AI strategy capabilities and services. TEO is a driving force of innovation at HTEC, both in terms of the services it provides for our customers and the development of internal teams. This includes the internal HTEC AI Enablement Program, a framework strategically designed to empower teams across the organization to develop basic and advanced AI skills.
