Marcus East is a globally experienced technology and business leader with a proven track record of driving strategic growth and innovation at some of the world’s most recognized brands. With over 20 years of experience across the US and UK, he has held senior executive roles with a uniquely balanced career: half spent building innovative tech at Apple, Google, and IBM, and the other half helping global brands like T-Mobile, National Geographic, Marks & Spencer, and Comic Relief apply technology for business impact.
This dual perspective, working for both disruptors and the disrupted, gives Marcus a rare 360-degree view of digital transformation. At Google, he served in the Office of the CTO, applying deep technical expertise to complex strategic challenges for Google and its top clients. At National Geographic, he led product and tech through a landmark digital turnaround, helping the brand become the most-followed on social media worldwide.
As Chief Digital Officer at T-Mobile, he led digital strategy and all customer-facing technology, including core systems like the billing platform. Currently Vice President and GM of Autodesk’s Digital and eCommerce division, Marcus is accountable for the company’s global digital business and P&L.
