William Mullaney

William J. “Bill” Mullaney is a seasoned insurance and financial services executive with over four decades of leadership and advisory experience. Most recently, he served as a Managing Director in Deloitte Consulting’s Insurance practice, advising leading Life & Annuities and Property & Casualty companies on strategic, operational, and technology transformation. He also led Deloitte’s Group Insurance practice and co-founded D-rive, Deloitte’s auto telematics services platform, which helped insurers enter the usage-based auto insurance market more cost-effectively.

Prior to Deloitte, Bill was President of MetLife’s U.S. Business, where he led all of the company’s domestic insurance and retirement operations. During his tenure, MetLife served over 60,000 institutional clients – including more than 90 of the Fortune 100 – and provided protection and retirement solutions to millions of individuals across the country.

He currently serves as a non-executive director on the board of Voya Financial, where he is a member of the Audit, Technology, and Nominating and Governance Committees. Bill is also a board member of the Automobile Association of America Northeast Club, where he chairs the Insurance Committee and sits on the Investment and Executive Committees.

Bill holds a B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Pace University.
