AMD technology presentation: Advancing AI in video games with AMD Schola
AMD Schola was recently launched on AMD GPUOpen to assist the machine learning and gaming communities in developing AI powered applications using Reinforcement Learning (RL) with Unreal Engine. This presentation explores reinforcement learning and reviews some of the recent progress in this domain, including digital twins and sim-to-real transfer, before doing a deep dive into AMD’s work on Schola and showcasing some examples of non-player characters built using Schola.
