Leaders at the global luxury retail brand have been on the road to digital transformation for years. But have they managed to respond to consumers’ digital needs? 

With companies increasingly launching new technologies to enable hyper-personalization at scale and smoother, pain-free and speedy customer experience, they recognized the need to streamline their customer journey. They had big ambitions to build on its success, but their existing CRM and product-info tools struggled to keep pace, making it difficult to provide their end-users with superior experience.  

They needed a fast but efficient digital makeover with extended functionalities that would make their operations more agile and their solution delivery much faster.  


Our journey with this client started in what was probably the most disruptive year in recent history – 2020. Everything was turned on its head, and even though e-commerce has been growing rapidly since the early days of Amazon, high-end fashion was still perceived as an in-store experience primarily. Removing that component meant that this retail company had to face its toughest digital challenge yet — cater to its vast customer base in the only way possible, digital retail.

Solution

Our team of experts with their years-long experience started delivering positive results from the day one. After the client built their app from scratch, we joined efforts with them to advance its functionalities and upgrade their existing tech stack, thus bringing the whole app to a much higher lever.  

We successfully migrated a suite of CMS and PIM tools to their updated versions and replaced their deprecated tech stack with completely new tools. Our team has been working on the backend and front-end components of the system as well on the infrastructure and DevOps.

The outcome was a completely new version of their online offering, including a variety of e-commerce offerings aligning with their global brands.

 The team of HTEC experts had a rapid formation period and superpowered the existing client’s team with additional strengths and knowledge. Clear and continuous communication with the client was the key to success, thus minimising disruption and creating positive outcomes from the very start.
